Learn the art of landscape embroidery and make a felt flag! Beginners are welcome; all are welcome. $40 covers all materials and instruction.

November 30th, December 4th or December 7th at Super Secret Ice Cream in Bethlehem, NH.

We’ll start with the basics of embroidery, from choosing colors to threading your needle and tying your knots, then move into how to depict light and topography with embroidery thread. You’re welcome to choose some landscapes that are special to you in advance and bring images on your phone or printed out, or you’re welcome to use one of the inspiration images I’ll provide.

The workshop will be super hands-on, and you’ll leave with a flag — or with most of a flag and clear instructions on how to finish it, depending on how detailed you choose to make your design. The end time is a suggestion and we can keep stitching longer if folks are motivated! These make wonderful holiday gifts.
